HUNTSVILLE, AL – Aurex today recognized the successful launch of Artemis II, a major milestone for American spaceflight and the next era of lunar exploration.
Aurex has supported the Artemis program for more than a decade through systems engineering, requirements verification, software integration, launch-campaign support, mission communications, and other high-stakes work that helps complex programs execute when precision and reliability are not optional.
Artemis II reflects the kind of nationally significant mission Aurex is built to support: one that demands disciplined preparation long before launch, responsive engineering during mission execution, and sustained operational support as requirements evolve from one mission to the next.
Aurex supported the Artemis cryogenic upper stage through requirements and verification work, software integration, telemetry readiness, and launch-campaign coordination that helped keep engineering, software, and operations aligned as both the Artemis I and II programs moved toward flight. Aurex also delivered mission-critical communications on Artemis II through DICES, helping connect distributed launch and mission teams across a complex operating environment. That work included helping teams prepare through simulation and rehearsal, then sustaining the communications backbone needed to keep geographically dispersed operations synchronized.
“The successful launch of Artemis is a remarkable achievement and a proud moment for everyone who has worked to make this mission possible,” said Dominick Barry, Chief Operating Officer at Aurex. “We are honored to support missions like Artemis II with the engineering, communications, and operational expertise required to help teams perform under pressure and execute with confidence.”
Aurex supports customers across the mission lifecycle, from systems engineering and integration through live mission execution, troubleshooting, and operational support. As the space community looks ahead to future missions, Aurex remains committed to building on its 30+ years of NASA support and continuing to support the systems, teams, and operations shaping the next chapter of American space leadership.
